1. Who you are buying from

You are buying from Work Package Services B.V., trading as HappyPress. Our registered address is Moeder Teresalaan 25, 3223 MP Hellevoetsluis. For correspondence and returns, use Christiaan Huygensweg 19A, 3225 LD Hellevoetsluis. You can reach us at info@workpackageservices.com or 085 041 03 19 (standard call charges apply). Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) no. 70632715 · VAT ID NL858401538B01.

These terms apply to business and consumer orders when we provide them in advance. You are a consumer if you are an individual buying primarily for private purposes. Individual agreements about your order, such as a final delivery date confirmed in writing, take precedence over any conflicting standard provision.

2. From enquiry to order

A quote request is non-binding. Our quote specifies the product, quantity, price, any additional charges, payment and delivery arrangements and how long the offer is valid. A contract is formed when you accept our quote within that period. If you change any part of the offer, we first confirm the new arrangements together.

If direct ordering is available, you can check and change your details and selections before clicking “Order and pay”. By clicking this button, you accept the offer and undertake to pay. We send confirmation by email. Check your email address and contact us if the confirmation does not arrive.

3. Price and payment

For consumers, prices include VAT. A business quote clearly states whether prices exclude VAT. Before you accept, you receive the total price for the agreed specifications, including mandatory packaging and delivery. We will only make a subsequent change that incurs extra charges with your approval.

Available payment methods and payment terms are stated in the offer. As a consumer, you may voluntarily pay the full amount in advance. You can also choose a payment method requiring no more than half upfront. If the pay-later provider declines your application, contact us before ordering to arrange an alternative. For business orders, the terms agreed in the quote or at checkout apply.

If a HappyPress invoice is overdue, we charge consumers out-of-court collection costs only after sending a reminder free of charge containing the legally required information and after the 14-day period starting the day after receipt has expired without payment. Statutory rules apply to interest and collection costs.

4. Your design and proof

Supply the agreed format, the correct files and images of sufficient quality. Before approving, check the text, layout, size, cut lines and selected finish. A technical file check does not include proofreading. If a particular colour, alignment or material is essential, agree it with us in advance, with a proof or colour reference if needed.

A typo visible in your approved design and printed as shown is different from a production error. We remain responsible for deviations from the agreed specifications or the approved file. An on-screen image can differ from a print on paper or film. This does not change an expressly agreed colour requirement.

If we agree to supply a proof, we only print after you have approved that version by email or through the file check. Silence does not constitute approval. If we replace the proof, we ask for approval again. A digital proof shows the layout. For a physical colour proof, we agree separately on the material, price and what you can assess from it.

Only supply material we have permission to use for your order. You authorise us and the printer we engage to process it to carry out that order. This does not transfer ownership of your design to us.

Keep a copy of your original design. If the file is technically unsuitable, we explain what to resubmit. If you would like us to repair or redesign the file, we agree the price and any revised delivery date with you before starting work.

5. Print run and intended use

We supply the agreed number of usable copies. If a production process requires a variation in quantity, we specify the lower and upper limits in advance and explain the effect on the price. This arrangement only applies with your agreement. Without it, we do not charge for extra copies. If copies are missing, tell us how many you received. We will provide an appropriate solution, such as delivering the missing copies.

If production requires a tolerance, for example when cutting a sticker, we specify it on the product page or in the quote. An agreed minimum size, fit or colour reference still applies. Before ordering, tell us of any special use, such as sheets that will later be fed through a laser printer or a magnetic sticker that needs to be writable. If we confirm suitability, it forms part of the agreement.

6. Delivery and firm deadlines

The quote or checkout indicates when to expect delivery. If timing depends on file approval, we tell you when we need your approval. If a date is essential, for example for a trade fair, have us confirm it in advance as the latest delivery date. We inform you as soon as possible if we cannot meet an agreed date.

If delivery is late, consumers can generally grant a reasonable additional period and then terminate the purchase if delivery still does not take place. No additional period is required if an essential date was agreed or delivery is refused. For consumer purchases, we bear the shipping risk until you or a third party designated by you receive the product, unless you choose a carrier that we did not offer.

Unless a different delivery time has been agreed with you as a consumer, we deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being concluded. If production is delayed because your file or approval arrives later, we explain how this affects the schedule. We will agree any new final delivery date with you.

A production partner may deliver your print directly to you. HappyPress remains your seller. If items arrive in separate parcels, we explain what is still to come. We cover extra shipping costs caused by splitting an order. Report damaged or missing parcels to HappyPress and we will follow up with the carrier.

7. Changes to or cancellation of custom orders

For goods made to your individual specifications that are not prefabricated, or goods clearly personalised for you, consumers have no statutory cooling-off period. Examples include flyers with your design or stickers with your logo. Choosing a standard size or pack quantity alone does not turn a standard item into a custom product.

If you want to change or stop a custom order, send us the order number and requested change as soon as possible. While we can still intervene, we explain the available options. If stopping the work involves costs, we explain them with reference to the stage reached, work already done and materials bought specially. We exclude costs saved and reusable materials. We only make a change involving extra costs after you agree to the price and schedule.

If a production issue or other problem prevents us from delivering on time, we tell you what solution and delivery date are possible. You are not obliged to accept a different material or a later final delivery date. Your statutory rights in the event of a defect, breach or late delivery still apply.

8. Cooling-off period for standard items

If you are a consumer buying a standard item at a distance, such as separate unprinted whiteboard magnets, you may withdraw without giving a reason up to and including 14 days after the day you or your designated recipient receive the item. If one order includes standard items delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item. If the order combines standard items and custom products, you may withdraw separately from the purchase of the standard items.

Clearly tell us within the period that you wish to withdraw. You can do so by email, letter or using the form below. If you accepted our quote by email, you can also reply directly to that email. For purchases concluded at the shop checkout to which a cooling-off period applies, the online withdrawal function is also available. Use of the form is optional. Return the product within 14 days of notifying us to our returns address.

You only pay the direct cost of returning goods if we told you this before purchase. For products that cannot normally be returned by post, we state the cost or a reasonable estimate in advance. You may inspect and assess the item as you would in a shop. Use beyond this may reduce its value if we duly informed you beforehand of your withdrawal rights.

If you withdraw from the entire order, we refund the purchase price and the standard outbound delivery costs within 14 days of your notification. The surcharge for a more expensive delivery option you chose is excluded. We may wait until we receive either the goods or proof of return, whichever arrives first. Refunds are free of charge and use the same payment method unless you agree to another.

9. Defects and complaints

Did you receive a damaged banner, the wrong size or an incomplete print run? Email us a description and include the order number if you have it. A photo often helps. You do not have to contact the printer or carrier yourself.

If you notice a possible production defect during application or installation, stop where it is reasonable and safe to do so. Keep a sample if possible so we can assess the problem and avoid unnecessary damage. You can still make a complaint if you no longer have a photo or the packaging.

Consumers are entitled to a product that conforms to the contract, including custom work. If there is a defect, statutory rules entitle you to repair or replacement free of charge within a reasonable time. In the cases provided for by law, you may request a price reduction or terminate the purchase. A consumer’s notification within two months of discovery is always considered timely.

If you order as a business, inspect the delivery within a reasonable time and report any defect promptly after you discover it or should have discovered it. The statutory consumer cooling-off period does not apply to business orders. Dutch law governs the contract. Consumers retain the mandatory protection to which they are entitled in their country of residence. You may bring proceedings before the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
